History ;

07/10/05; Presented 8/10 lame on right hind, diagnosed in June as probable partial cruciate, settled down without treatment. Now complete rupture, surgery booked for 13/10/05.

13/10/05 ; General anaesthesia, repair of ruptured cruciate ligament right stifle using CCL system, and joint imbrication. Home with Rimadyl (carprophen) 20mg ½ twice daily.

20/10/05 1 1.6 5 Post-operative check, dog remarkably well, weight bearing , owner stopped analgesics as dog trying to over-use leg!
Weight bearing abount 85%.
Left thigh = 24.0 cm Right thigh = 21.5 cm
22/10/05 2 1.6 7 Very slight lameness after exercise and getting excited!
Still doing fantastically well.

Approx 90% weight bearing - fantastic. Owner reported slight lamenes after last session but was fine after rest.

No further sessions required as Penny has made a remarkable recovery from the surgery, and the work on the treadmill has given her the confidence to use her leg .
